Paris Photo - Merch concepts & process
2025  (Internship)

Made for Foam Fotografiemuseum Amsterdam

Before selecting the final merchandise for the event, a range of concepts was explored across different products, colours, and logo applications. Variations in scale, placement, and fragmentation of the Foam logo were tested to investigate how the identity could be translated across small-format objects.

The initial concepts included lighters, keychains, stickers, matchboxes, and wristbands, all chosen for their potential to function as objects visitors might keep or continue to use beyond the event itself. Bright colour combinations were explored during the concept phase to increase visibility within the lively atmosphere of Paris Photo.

Following several rounds of feedback, the final selection consisted of matchboxes, wristbands, and beer coasters.
The colour palette was refined to Foam's signature red, creating a stronger connection to the museum's visual identity while maintaining consistency across the final collection.
