A Good Day To
2026

In collaboration with Fay Buurman & Alexia Dincă
A Good Day To is the graduation exhibition of Product Design Arnhem 2026. Developed in collaboration with the Product Design department of ArtEZ, the visual identity translates the ideas behind the exhibition into a visual language applied across a catalogue, website, Instagram, and various event materials.
The title is deliberately unfinished. Rather than naming one task or solution, it leaves space for each student to complete it in their own way. Building on the idea of a day, the visual language takes inspiration from the changing position of the sun and the shifting light throughout the day.
Each student was asked to complete the title by describing what a good day meant to them in relation to their own project. This gave the open-ended title a personal interpretation for each student. Portraits, process photography, and details from the students' work became part of the visual identity, while silhouettes formed recurring graphic elements, used as frames across the identity and shaped around elements from the students' projects.
The resulting identity brings the different projects together through a shared visual language while allowing each one to retain its own character. Applied across print, digital, and social formats, the identity creates a consistent framework for the exhibition while leaving space for the individual work to remain visible.
